I guess you want to know a little bit about me right? Well the J in J Wyman Photography stands for Jennifer!
Do you remember when you were little and someone would ask what you wanted to be when you grew up? Are you that today? I used to always want to be a photographer. I remember telling everyone that! I used to be the Videographer for the basketball team in high school, and preferred to do the AV - behind the scenes stuff in Drama. I had tagged along with a friend of mine one day when she went to a modeling class. They asked me to join and I told them I would rather be the one with the camera in my hand. I was on the Yearbook Committee - most of the photos in my Sr. Yearbook were taken by me. I had my own dark room in my bathroom, I took night classes and summer classes while still in high school. Yep - that is what I wanted to do for my whole life. So what happened? I listened to one person that said there is no future in photography and that I needed to do something else. After that I abandoned my dream. Lesson learned - do what you want to do, not what someone else wants you to do.
So here we are today - same dream continues on. Why wait any longer?
I have always enjoyed taking photos of my children, scenery, macro shots of flowers and bug. Now I am having a blast taking photos of other people and their families.
As this business continues to grow, I do still have my full time job. My weekends are getting busy with sessions and it is exciting!
